This comprehensive 2-day course provides an in-depth understanding of mental health first aid, qualifying participants as Mental Health First Aiders. It covers a wide range of mental health issues and equips learners with the necessary skills to provide first aid support.
This course provides the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid for mental health, the aims to help individuals in the workplace and communities to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health issues and understand how best to support themselves and those around them in recovery.

Prerequisites
Due to some of the sensitive subjects of the course students should be aware of that some people can find certain parts of the course difficult, although our instructors help everyone to feel safe and comfortable.
Who Should Attend
Anyone can attend an MHFA course, but an interest in mental health and wellbeing is desirable. This course provides the skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid for mental health and how to effectively support those experiencing distress.
