This First Aid qualification is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace. This course is suitable for those who are accountable for a workplace first aid provision. All of our workplace first aid courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE, the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 & 2025 updates. We ensure confidence is developed of the skills learnt and the certificate is valid for 3 years. Complete the First Aid at Work Re-qualification before the 3 year expiry of the FAW certificate (contact us for more information on timeframes in which to access the re-qualification course) This practical course covers adult emergency first aid and includes training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This is a comprehensive 3-Day First Aid at Work Training Course covering a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt safe and effective manner.
This course will give the participants a qualification at the highest level of first aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

This course is run over 3 consecutive days. However the mandatory 18 hours required by the HSE can also be delivered over a longer period of time should staff availability be a problem to your organisation.
Candidates must be physically able to achieve the learning objectives but reasonable adjustments can be discussed.
The HSE no longer require an independent assessment of Emergency First Aid at Work candidates. Throughout the course you will be continually monitored and assessed. Along with a multiple choice question paper on the final afternoon.
To keep your certificate valid a First Aid At Work Requalification course must be completed BEFORE your certificates expires, this will provide you with another three-year certificate. Once certificates have expired the first aider is no longer considered to be competent to act as a workplace first aider.
Each Candidate will receive an Easy to read First Aid reference book and a digital certificate. ( A FREE hardcopy can be provided if required.)
